Can I Trigger in AWS Executions of Failed Recommendations?

Overview

You have observed that there have been some failures related to the execution of CloudFix runbooks (AWS SSM automation executions) and are wondering if you could execute/retry them again using a manual script of your own.

Information

CloudFix runs finder validations each day. If a failed recommendation is found to be still valid, it will automatically generate a new recommendation for the same fixer and resource that can be again executed from the CloudFix portal.

While manually triggering the failed executions can be done, it is not recommended and supported by the CloudFix team. This is primarily because such manual executions of our runbooks (triggered outside the CloudFix portal) could lead to incorrect reporting and inconsistencies in the CloudFix portal.
