Optimize Instance Size for CloudFix Billing Account

You have connected your AWS account as a Billing Account in CloudFix and would like to know if the size of instances belonging to this account are optimized.

When you use AWS Savings Plans, you would be committed to reserving instances (cRIs) on a 1-year or a 3-year term.

For those cRIs in your environment your “commitment units” and your “demand units” should be matched. However, in practice, CloudFix found that many Billing Accounts do not maintain this matching as their demand changes.

The CloudFix Finder finds these mismatches, and the CloudFix Fixer fixes them.

The Fixer does this by converting cRI commitments to "normal units", then converting those normal units to the compute types that are currently in demand.
