Overview
As we continuously release more and better finders and fixers, some might require a newer version of the CloudFix CloudFormation template to run. To make sure you can take advantage of all the available opportunities to save in your AWS bill, please check regularly that you are running the most up-to-date template.
You can check your current version if there are updates available under the "Overview" menu:
Steps
- Login to your AWS Console on the management account using the following link: https://signin.aws.amazon.com
- In the CloudFix overview menu click the "upgrade to latest" link.
- Read the pop-up and proceed with the upgrade.
- This will open CloudFix stack on AWS Console. If not you can use the following link: https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/cloudformation/home?region=us-east-1#/stacks?filteringStatus=active&filteringText=CloudFix&viewNested=true&hideStacks=false
- Select
CloudFix-prod
stack from the list and click theUpdate
button - Select
Replace current template
- Provide Amazon S3 URL as
https://cloudfix-templates.s3.amazonaws.com/cloudfix-onboarding.yaml
- Click
Next

Update Stack
button
CloudFormation console will display the CloudFix stack and will show the status as UPDATE_IN_PROGRESS
until all stacks are updated.
